Insider Tips: Cox offers discounts on monthly monitoring if you bundle it with internet, TV and phone. There are two different Homelife plans available. Plus, you can add equipment on to each plan to customize your system for your home. Cox requires a 2-year service agreement for Homelife. Homelife will not work unless you have broadband connectivity. Your broadband must be up and running before installation. Homelife requires professional installation initially. However, if you want to later add components to your system, you can install these yourself.

POWER OUTAGE PROTECTION	ou are protected in the event of a power or internet outage thanks to a backup battery and cellular network. This means that your system will never go offline. You will still have security protection even if your internet connection gets lost.
SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS	The Preferred Package With Starter Kit includes an HD camera and live video monitoring which can be viewed remotely. You can access live video 24 hours a day through the mobile app. With a continuous video recording subscription, you can record ten days of video at a time.
